SHIPPING POLICY
- All wine orders require an adult signature for delivery, we recommend a business address if possible, to ensure delivery. An additional charge of $5.00/per package applies for delivery to residences.
- Current laws prohibit us from shipping wine to New Hampshire (NH) or Utah (UT).
- Orders to Alabama (AL), Arkansas (AR), Georgia (GA), Kansas (KS), Maryland (MD), Mississippi (MI) and Pennsylvania (PA) require they be sent by air.
- Unless otherwise requested, we ship UPS Ground delivery (usually 2-3 days). During the summer months, we will ship on Mondays to reduce the amount of time packages might be exposed to high heat.
- Our shipping insurance only covers breakage or loss. It does not cover damage because of exposure to extreme temperatures.
- Undeliverable shipments will be either re-shipped at the expense of the customer or refunded, minus applicable shipping fees.
- Refunds - Wine purchases are non-refundable.
- Legal Notification
All wines are sold in California and the title passes to the buyer in California. Tom Scott Vineyard makes no representations concerning legal rights of any person or company to ship or import wines into any state or any country.
Tom Scott Vineyard may not be able to ship wine to certain states or countries. The buyer is solely responsible for shipment of wines. When placing an order, you are authorizing Tom Scott Vineyard to act on your behalf to engage a common carrier to deliver the items in your order.
Wines and/or spirits may be sold only to persons who are at least 21 years old. When placing your order, you are representing to Tom Scott Vineyard that you are at least 21 years old. When your wine is delivered to you, you will be required to show identification proving that you are at least 21 years old.

What information do you collect?
1. We collect information from you when you register on the site, place an order, enroll in the mailing list, and respond to our e-mails.
2. We also monitor site use and traffic patterns to improve our web site design and the products and services we offer.
3. When ordering or registering, we ask you for your name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number, credit card information or other information. You may, however, visit our site anonymously.
How do you use my information?
Tom Scott Vineyard recognizes that it must maintain and use customer information responsibly. We only use the information we collect from you to quickly process your transactions.
How do you protect visitor information?
When ordering with us, we want our customers to feel confident that their personal information and credit card data is completely safe. Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by an elite team of ninja monkeys who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. When you place orders or access your personal information, you are connecting to us through our secure server. All sensitive/credit information you supply is transmitted via 128-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our databases.
Do you use "cookies"?
Yes. Cookies are small files that your web browser stores on your computer's hard drive (if you allow) that enables our web site to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information. Our webstore uses cookies to remember and process the items in your shopping cart. We also use cookies to improve the experience of your site interaction.

Never. We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information.
How can I opt-out, remove or modify information I have provided to you?
You can modify the status of your e-mail subscription in the "Profile" section within "My Account". Please note that if you choose to unsubscribe, you may receive any emails already in production (although this is highly unlikely).
To delete all of your online account information from our database, go to your "Profile" and remove your addresses and contact information. Please note that we will maintain information about individual sales transactions in order to service those transactions and for record keeping.
Changes to our policy
If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on this page. Policy changes will apply only to information collected after the date of the change. This policy was last modified on January 1, 2008.
